Concord FloralBy Jordan Tannahill Directed by Elizabeth Ann Skelhorne The hulk of Concord Floral, an enormous abandoned greenhouse, dominates the wild space as well as the imagination of the teens who live nearby. It’s a place of refuge, transformation, and of freedom. It’s also a dangerous place that remembers their past deeds. When one of their buried secrets comes back to haunt them, ten teenagers must make a choice in order to save themselves. Strong Language, Mature Themes, Suggest 14+ Concord Floral was first produced in 2014 by Suburban Beast and presented by Why Not Theatre at the Theatre Centre (Toronto, ON). It was written by Jordan Tannahill over a three-year development process with Erin Brubacher, Cara Spooner and a group of teenagers from across the Greater Toronto Area.
