Auditions for Outside Mullingar

We are seeking actors for the delightful Irish drama, Outside Mullingar. One audition session is scheduled for Monday, January 29th at 7:00pm at the theatre. Callbacks, or a second session are a possibility if needed. If you are interested but cannot attend that evening please contact the director.
Synopsis
Anthony and Rosemary have lived their whole lives “a hen’s kick” away from each other on neighbouring farms in rural Ireland. If they are attracted to each other, there is plenty standing in the way of even speaking about it. Add complications of family relationships and old history, and you have lots to overcome. This is a lovely, if tortured love story.

- Tony Reilly (75 in poor health, sly)
- Anthony Reilly (Tony’s son, 42, an intense dreamer)
- Aoife Muldoon (70s, frail)
- Rosemary Muldoon (36, Aoife’s daughter, determined)

Open Reading of Outside Mullingar (anyone welcome) at the theatre, Wednesday, January 24 @ 7 pm. Just show up.

The Run is April 26 to May 11.
OZone (Okanagan Zone) Festival performance in Vernon is likely May 14 or 15.
Mainstage Festival? If we should be chosen Best Production, we will be asked to perform at the provincial festival July 2-6.
