This well-loved musical was performed during our inaugural season in 1978. Now, half a century later, we are bringing this timeless story to life again. We meet Tevye, a poor milkman in the tiny Jewish village of Anatevka in Imperial Russia, as he struggles to balance his beloved traditions with the changing world around him. Tevye must navigate family, faith, community and political unrest. Filled with iconic songs, humour and heart, it’s a timeless story of resilience in the face of change.
