Musical Youth Summer Theatre (MYST)

Moving Theatre Performing Arts and Shuswap Theatre are delighted to once again offer a dynamic, three-week summer musical theatre camp for youth, ages 10-17, culminating in a fully staged production of Shrek The Musical Jr.  Our professional instructors will guide you in all aspects of Musical Theatre:

Singing • Choreography • Acting • Sets • Costumes

Meet our Instructors

We are only accepting 13 JUNIORS (10-12) and 12 SENIORS (13-17) – No audition required. We are looking for motivated children and youth who want to learn and are willing to work hard. We guarantee that plenty of fun will be had! And participants will go away with a genune feeling of accomplishment.

Registration Opens Sunday, April 12 at 12:00 noon.

Cost: $600
There is some financial help if needed for a young person to participate. Please apply on your registration form. You will not have to pay anything until the amount of your scholarship is determined.

We expect the camp to fill up very quickly. If all spots are gone by the time you register, you may register for the Waiting List (which appears as if it were a separate event. No payment is needed unless/until your child is offered a spot due to the withdrawal of another student.

If you are registering more than one participant in your family, you can put two or more spots into your shopping cart at once. That way you can hold the second spot while you are completing the registration form for each.

Cancellation Policy 

• A full refund will be issued for registrations cancelled  prior to June 1st.
• A full refund less a $50 cancellation fee will be issued for registrations cancelled June 1st or later.
• If Shuswap Theatre/Moving Theatre Performing Arts is forced to cancel the event for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
