Seniors Theatre starts Oct. 1

As you are putting your schedule of activities together, this is just a reminder that the Senior’s Theatre program is starting up again the first week of October. If you haven’t seen those annoying posters around in your neighborhood, you will soon. For those of you who have no idea why you are getting this message, it is because you either expressed an interest or you actually signed up at the Picadilly Mall. If you don’t remember, that is why you need Seniors’ Theatre. We work on all sorts of skill sets and do a lot of laughing at the same time.

We have received some funding from the New Horizons for Seniors program this year to put together a handbook that can be shared with other groups who want to do a similar program and will be creating video footage to go along with the handbook. We will be asking for your permission to use your smiling faces!

There is a website under construction at www.seniorstheatre.ca that will soon contain a lot more information.

We start October 1 from 9:00-11:00 at Shuswap Theatre, October 1 from 1:00-3:00 at Sorrento Memorial Hall, and October 2 from 1:00 -3:00 at Cedar Heights. Hope to see you at one of those sites,
