The Wizard of Oz

One of the most beloved family musicals of all time comes to Shuswap Theatre. Join Dorothy and Toto, along with their new friends, the Cowardly Lion, The Tin Man and Scarecrow as they follow the yellow brick road to find the Wizard of Oz, whom they are sure will help Dorothy get back to Kansas. Along the way they face many challenges – a wicked witch, flying monkeys and sleep inducing plants – but together they find the resources to carry on.

A Red Plaid Shirt
by Michael Wilmot
Directed by Frank Manning
Two friends fill the void left by retirement in different ways; Marty decides he wants to explore the open road on a Harley while Fred decides to pay more attention to his health, inventing many new ailments along the way. With a little “subtle redirection” from their wives and a creative solution to a very unusual problem (which may or may not include a homemade coffin) they find the right track… eventually. Plenty of laughs.
A Red Plaid Shirt is produced by special arrangement with Playwrights Guild of Canada.
