Candidates’ Positions on a New Theatre Building
The Shuswap Theatre Building Committee sent a letter to all candidates for the 2011 Salmon Arm Municipal Election. The letter asked candidates to indicate their thoughts about how the City should respond to the new theatre initiative and listed a number of ways that the City could show support. The candidates were also given a brief history of Shuswap Theatre and of the Building Committee. It was requested that responses be received by October 28th and candidates were advised that theatre members would be informed by email about their responses.
